Enjoy the scenic views of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapahoe National Forest at the Grand Lake Nordic Center. We offer the beginner to advanced skier a variety of terrain on 35 km of classic and skate skiing trails.
The terrain and trails are also excellent for snowshoeing, and we have a dedicated dog loop and kid's tubing hill! The GLMRD Nordic Center is a full-service, outdoor winter destination featuring our ski and snowshoe rentals, lessons, a retail shop, and a winter soup kitchen at the Lodge. The Nordic Center is open for the season! Please check out the season's schedule of events, and the 2011-2012 trail fees. Season passes are also available now. We look forward to seeing you this winter!
BIG NEWS FOR THE NORDIC CENTER FURRY FRIENDS
You already know that we are very dog friendly and have designated trails for our faithful companions. We have been working hard on improvements and for this season have expanded the dog loop so that it is now three times larger than last season. All of the dog loop is already open, including Spirits Haunt and a portion of Randall’s Romp. Come check it out - your dogs will love you even more!

FROM WINTER PARK:
45 minutes (34 miles)
Highway 40 to Granby
FROM GRANBY:
Take US Hwy 34 (from north end of Granby). Go north toward Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. Go past the entrance to the town of Grand Lake, approximately 1/4 mile, turn left on County Road 48. Follow signs to the Grand Lake Golf Course and Nordic Ski Center.
